Florida governor has warned residents in the path of Huracain idalia to heed evacuation warnings without delay as it approaches the US states.

Much of Florida, including the densely populated areas, is forecast to be effected by severe weather.

Idalia is projected to hit areas tha Mr DeSantis said has not seen such a major huracain since the 1800s.
