EU to launch military mission in West Africa – reports

The European Union is reportedly moving to increase its influence in West Africa, agreeing on a mission in the Gulf of Guinea this autumn, citing anti-terror operations and a need to strengthen security. The move is despite previous similar operations in Niger, Mali, Somalia failed to yield fruitful results. We discuss the issue with a panel of guests.
