Do you have a knife, which no longer cuts properly because it is simply no longer sharp enough? However, you also do not have a whetstone at home? No problem! Because you can also sharpen your knife with a mug. In this video I show you exactly how it works!

For this you need a porcelain mug. This has a rough ring on the bottom and exactly this we can use to sharpen our knife. To do this, you should hold the knife at a certain angle to the bottom of the cup and then pull it from the front to the back. Repeat this again and again, alternating between the two sides.

After some time you will notice that your knife is much sharper again and you could sharpen it successfully without a whetstone and only with a conventional porcelain mug. Try this trick but also with you once, if you have a knife which needs to be sharpened.
