If you have a lemon at home, you should wrap it around your faucet once. Because surely you know it too, that you have a lot of lime on your faucet. Especially at the aerator you will find a lot of lime, which is not so easy to dissolve. But exactly these lime deposits you can get solved with the lemon.

The reason for this is the citric acid it contains. And how exactly this works, I show you once in this short video. To do this, you should cut the lemon once in the middle and then press the cut side into the faucet. The complete lime deposits should now be in the lemon. To fix it you can use a rubber band or something else.

Now the lemon should remain on the faucet for about 30 - 60 minutes, so that the citric acid can act properly. When the time is up, you can remove the lemon again. Now you take a sponge and wipe again over the places where the calcifications are. These should be relatively easy to remove now. So if you also have some lime on your faucet and want to clean it effortlessly, then you should definitely try this method!
