You've probably never thought of rubbing your hands with a slice of lemon, have you? Yet there are some moments when this really makes sense and in this video I explain to you exactly when and why this is so.

Because everyone knows this. When you cut an onion or garlic, your hands stink for days afterwards. You can wash your hands with soap as often as you want, but the smell will not disappear. However, if you rub your hands with a lemon, the smell of the garlic clove or onion will be gone in no time. So the next time you have smelly hands, just rub them with a lemon.

If you don't have lemon in the house, you can use baking soda instead. Baking soda binds bad odors and can also make sure that your hands no longer stink. To do this, take a tablespoon of baking soda in your hands, rub it and then wash your hands with it. The smell will also disappear quickly.

A third way to get rid of bad odor is toothpaste. Because even with a blob of toothpaste you can wash your hands to get rid of the bad smell again.
