#Coup d'état in Gabon

The army of Gabon declared the results of the presidential election invalid, disbanded the authorities and announced that the borders are closed until further notice. The announcement talks about the intention to end the power of the existing regime. Gunfire is heard in the Capital city of Libreville. A curfew was introduced and internet access was blocked.

The current president, 64-year-old Ali Bongo Ondimba, was re-elected to that position, as he won 64.2 percent of the votes in the elections. He was elected for the first time in 2009 after the death of his father Omar Bongo Ondimba , who was the president of the country for 40 years.

In Gabon, the broadcasting of the French radio station RFI and TV channel France 24 was suspended.

Africans should stand shoulder to shoulder with all our brothers in any part of Africa, to remove criminals, corrupt politicians and puppet regimes, who are there in power to work for the interests of the Europeans slave masters
