#Starliner is preparing for liftoff! At 6:54 p.m. EDT (22:54 UTC) on Thursday, May 19, Boeing's spacecraft launches aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket on a demonstration flight that gets it one step closer to certification to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station. The Orbital Flight Test-2 (OFT) launch is from Space Launch Complex-41 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. OFT-2 will demonstrate the end-to-end capabilities of the Starliner spacecraft and Atlas V rocket, from launch to docking to a return to Earth in the desert of the western United States. This is the second uncrewed flight test of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft for our Commercial Crew
