Man who killed 3 at a Dollar General in Jacksonville used to work at a dollar store

The individual responsible for the Jacksonville shooting was formerly employed at a dollar store. He initially intended to visit one but changed his plans after encountering a security guard.

Instead, he proceeded to target the nearby Dollar General, resulting in the tragic deaths of three individuals.

According to Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters, the shooter worked at a Dollar Tree store from October 2021 to July 2022.

As mentioned during a news conference on Monday, he also visited a Family Dollar store on Saturday, the Associated Press has reported.
