ROPE Report #39 - Denise Roberts; A mom fighting for her child's rights

Denise is a parent whose children were enrolled in Kansas Public Schools following a move from Oklahoma. Quickly, she found that not only were the schools not caring for her children the way she would as a parent, but were actively hurting her middle child - who Denise found was being called into the school counselor's office to be counseled without her consent. Today, Denise's children no longer attend public school and she has become the parent education advocate/activist most of us can only dream of becoming.
