🦎THE GECKO& 🐌THE SNAIL 🐌

Hawai’i is home to the “pūpū kani ʻoē” the Hawaiian singing snail. The snail’s shell 🐚 made a whistling sound when the wind blows. There are many folklore stories about the geckos 🦎 in the islands. Some stories about the gecko are about lizard women that were the guardians of the waterfalls, streams & rivers and ponds.
