Dr. Bhattacharya gives extensive testimony of his involvement with public health policy from the beginning of the pandemic. As one of the three authors of the Great Barrington Declaration, he outlines the ideas of the declaration and says, if they had been followed, the most vulnerable, elderly people would have been protected and the least at risk, healthy young people, would have been free to live their lives as they were never at risk of dying.
