Hurricane Idalia strengthens to Category 2, packing 100 mph winds

Idalia strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane on Tuesday afternoon and is expected to rapidly intensify into a dangerous major hurricane before making landfall on Florida's west coast on Wednesday.
