Resonance of Fate: Part One - Destiny

In the far reaches of the future, as atmospheric pollution threatens to extinguish life on Earth, the last vestiges of humanity band together to erect a salvation: the Basel purification system. With the passage of time, the resilient survivors forge a new society around the heart of Basel's towering edifice, all under the vigilant gaze of its mechanical nucleus, Zenith. Through an intricate process, Zenith binds human existence to precious quartz stones, granting them immunity against pollution's grasp while also entwining their fates with predetermined social strata and lifespans.

Resonance of Fate[a] is a role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was released in January 2010 in Japan and March 2010 in Western territories. The game uses a fast-paced strategic combat system revolving around different types of firearms and combination moves between the three playable characters. A remastered version titled Resonance of Fate 4K/HD Edition was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on October 18, 2018.
