Gotokuji Temple - Meet the Real Cat

I had been a little put off by the idea of a temple with beckoning cats, thinking that it might be a bit commercial and lacking in charm. I was a little put off by this temple because I thought it looked too commercial and unattractive.

When I went to the temple, I found that it was a very comfortable temple with small Buddha statues enshrined carefully and benches set up around the Buddha hall.

The temple has a charming atmosphere, and it is the kind of temple where people from the neighborhood come for a walk.

And somehow a real cat appeared and welcomed us.
Is it a cat owned by this person? But no collar.
I have a feeling that the cat at this temple has spiritual power.
