Part Twelve: The Rise and Fall (and rise and fall) of "The Makeover Guy®"

After the shock of discovering "a new opportunity" was upon us, we still had to go back to work at reVamp! while pretending nothing had happened. We were booked for months meaning we had to find somehow to service multiple makeovers plus our regular clients in a new space. I considered working out of my house. But found a temporary space in a former medi-spa. So with the help of our friend Stephen Trevino, RIP, who offered his artwork and furniture, we decorated and began. Robert did the haircolor, and while looking for a product line in makeup and hair I did the makeup and hair.

Meanwhile we found a space where I designed, and together Robert and I furnished the space. We added plumbing, electrical, completely furnished at our expense. It was a big risk.

No one from reVamp! would come to help, so we enlisted former employees to assist as we hired and trained new employees. They didn't last long.

It took three years to get it how I wanted it, just in time for Covid.
