This is an emotional one, and was difficult for me to put together. My 50th year started out on a high. I felt most confident that the next decade would be THE decade. Then came spring and upon its arrival came a friend who was just out of felony prison and homeless. Of course we said he could stay with us. I'm still debating whether if it was worth the learning experience.

That year we got married, and the next year we lost our baby dogs. Then 2016 and the world changed. And so did ours.
