Responding to the Mormon Missionary Message” – Corey Miller and Ross Anderson

In Acts 17 we find the Apostle Paul understood the culture and thinking of the group at Mars Hill. He was familiar with their culture and literature. He noted their engagement in religion, pointed to their idols and from there describe the nature of the One true God. He quoted from their poets as affirmation of what he was saying and outlined the basis of the gospel, the coming judgment, the death and resurrection of the Lord. When speaking with Mormon missionaries it is important to understand their culture, definitions of the terms. They have a different view of origins, God, Jesus, our nature, even salvation even though they use the same language. What are the best guidelines for Responding to the Mormon Missionary Message?
