Great Dane Prepares For Hurricane Idalia's Arrival In Tampa Florida

Maddie the Great Dane enjoys helping Mom & Dad prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Idalia near Tampa Florida. Watch & enjoy as Maddie enjoys a swim with Mom & Dad as they cool off from moving patio furniture & get ready to add more salt to the pool to keep it clean during the storm. Thankfully we have had two days notice to start relocating potential projectiles & were able to move all the patio furniture that could go flying under the covered area of the lanai with 6 hours to spare before we will start feeling the initial winds & rain from Hurricane Idalia this afternoon. Idalia will be passing by Tampa as a Category 2 with winds of 120 mph / 193 kph at approximately 2 am tomorrow morning. Landfall is currently forecast to be 100 miles / 160 km north of Tampa. Our thoughts are with our fellow Floridians who are in Idalia's path & at risk of the 7 - 12 feet of storm surge flooding.
