Locals in Niger oppose French military presence

UN peacekeepers are not the only ones being pressured to exit the country, as the coup government in Niger is encouraging France to abandon the Sahel region. It has earlier demanded the Paris ambassador to leave the country, but French troops still present in Niger are not welcome either.
