prince philip and lady diana
Prince Philip and Lady Diana, also known as Princess Diana, were prominent figures in the British royal family, each leaving a significant impact on the world during their lifetimes.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh:
Prince Philip was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on June 10, 1921, on the Greek island of Corfu. He was a member of the Greek and Danish royal families but was exiled from Greece as a child due to political turmoil. He later became a naturalized British citizen and joined the British Royal Navy during World War II.
In 1947, he married Princess Elizabeth, who would eventually become Queen Elizabeth II. Throughout their long marriage, Prince Philip provided unwavering support to the Queen and played a key role in modernizing the British monarchy. He was known for his sense of duty, his commitment to public service, and his sometimes humorous and candid remarks.
