"The Hidden Agenda for a World Government" (1982) is an interview of Norman Dodd of the Reece Committee by G. Edward Griffin. From the introduction, "The story you are about to hear represents a missing peace in modern history. Without this knowledge many contemporary events are simply beyond understanding. The man you are about to hear will tell you that many of the tax exempt foundations since at least 1945 have been working for promoting a hidden agenda... the real objectives include the creation of a worldwide collectivist state, including the Soviet Union which is to be ruled from behind the scenes by those same men..." According to Norman Dodd the tax exempt foundations (among them, the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford Foundation) wanted the US in the First World War and were seeking control over the education of the USA, particularly in the matters of history. He said, "What communism represents is a means of developing what we call a monopoly... they will be the beneficiaries of it."
