THE BATTLE OF WARSAW - TEST OF THE EXPERIMENTAL FORTS

When we set the backdrop being the greatest fortress Napoleons could imagine, fast forward 100 years and have the largest army in the world construct the most modern forts around it. And than throw Ludendorff and a determined German army against the largest best fortress in Europe, with over 100.000 well armed soldiers. And you will walk away with the greatest military victory in history. The battle of Fortress Novogeorgievsk, or Fortress Modlin and Warsaw.
I will take you through the battle with original footage from it, but most amazing we are going through the most modern fortresses, and forts of modern history. The latest and most modern of WW1, I was truly amazed when I saw what they had constructed and continued right up until days before the battle.
And over the next month I am going to show you these and how these went into the line of WW2. where one of the greatest Tank battles took place 29 years later in the same area. These are battles and fortresses, bunkers most people in the West have not really heard much of and we are going to change that.
This is the first episode where I lay out the history for what is to become a series of fortified lines, forts and battles over the next 30 years in the East.
