Warming food in the microwave is a thing in itself. Because you probably know the following problem too. You put your food in the microwave, start it, and when it's done, you have an incredibly hot plate, but the food isn't heated evenly.

Most of the time there is a spot in the middle of the plate where the food is still very cold after all. But with this little trick you can avoid that. All you have to do is not put the plate in the middle of the microwave, but a little to the edge.

Because the plate does not rotate evenly through the microwave and so your food should be evenly warm when the microwave is ready. So if you know the problem, then try this ingenious trick but definitely once.
