I'm gonna share some stats on my business. I'd been wearing too many hats and juggling all of our new customer inquiries and all that. I have not had a chance to follow up. I could barely keep up with just running the appointments.

We figured out we have two metrics we track. One is our win rate, which is from all leads that come into our pipeline, how many turn into customers. The second metric we look at is what's our actual close rate of folks that we speak with who end up becoming a customer.

And my close rate was 10% lower than Matt, my new right hand guy. I had a 76% close rate. He's at 81.3%. That lift is because he's actually following up where my process was. I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off. If people become a customer, great. If they don't, I can't keep up on my leads. I'm going to the next one.

And now that that's Matt's full-time job we have seen a 10 per, well, not quite 10%, a 7% lift and close rate just from that.
