Identity-the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.

identify-establish or indicate who or what (someone or something) is.

Just took the first of each n even with the word identify...is vague because its not always based in reality or wat absolutely is. Unlike the word identify which sprang identify....identity is more solid. Like i said in the video identify can go 2 ways n the the definition puts it in the area of feelings. Which could have been done on purpose but at the same tim gives a hint of placing it in the world of fact by using the word establish.
