Boone is a 4yr old registered AQHA 15.2hh sorrel gelding that is made right! This gelding is the perfect combination of running and foundation/cow bred. But what sets this horse apart from the rest, besides his flawless conformation, pretty looks, and talent is his mind! This is hands down one of the best minded horses I have ever had the pleasure to know.
Boone is on his second owner in life, coming directly from the breeder. He is owned by and in training with a very close friend of mine, so I have had the pleasure of getting to know this gelding well over the past few months. He has now been in his program for 8 months getting extensive arena training, and a whole lot of outside miles, including lots of road miles. This gelding is TALENTED and so extremely smart and trainable. In the arena he is extremely soft, supple, has wonderful lateral work, rides around on a slack rain, bridle less, is really good on his feet, steady and unflappable. Absolutely easy for anyone to ride, no owner’s manual needed. He is naturally a big stopper, will spin a hole in the ground, and will turn around and pack the youngest most timid children around. He has also had extensive groundwork and liberty training which makes him the absolute most reliable gentleman on the ground. If you forget to grab a halter when going out to fetch him up, no worries, Boone will follow you like a puppy dog.

He trail rides great, handles any and all terrain and obstacles set in front of him, crosses water, ponies colts, and rides quietly right down the road in any traffic. This horse will self-load on a trailer, and you will forget you even have him on there because he is so quiet and well-mannered when traveling. He is 110% the exact same horse in new environments as he is at home, and he can sit for weeks and rides off the same as the last time you rode him. This gelding would excel in many different areas…….ranch riding, ranch reining, SHOT horse, youth horse, family horse, ranch horse, trail horse, or take him home and start him in the roping. Either way, this is the kind of horse that could replace 6 in your barn as he will and can do absolutely anything you desire to do with and then throw the kids or beginners on him the next minute. And with is age, this horse has a lifetime to serve you ahead of him.

Boone is a very easy keeper, lives out great in a herd setting or stall. Easy to bathe, clip, tie, cross tie, farrier, vet etc. There is honestly nothing negative we can say about him. He has great feet, clean legs, and the only blemish on him is a superficial old flesh wound scar on his rump near his tail. He has his current coggins and just recently had his teeth done.
