To the first good man that we ever loved!
A magnificent man, a loyal, loving husband, a devoted father, and a true friend.
I wished you could have stayed forever.
If dreams weren't dreams and dreams come true,
we wouldn't be here, we would be with you.
Distance is one thing that keeps us apart,
but you will always remain in our hearts
We know that no matter what
you will always be with us.
No matter where we are,
as we feel your presence.
When we hear the rain pitter patter against my window sill,
we will hear your words of wisdom,
and will remember what you taught us so well.
When a butterfly dances on the breeze, so carefree
we will know it is you reminding us
to appreciate the simple things in life.
When the sun is shining,
we will feel the warmth of your love.
We miss you so incredibly much
and wish you were here to see everything
we are doing.
We hope you are as proud of us
as you were an influence in our lives.
We know you are still with us at times,
but it’s just not the same here anymore without you.
We try to be strong for each other,
because we know that’s what you would have wanted.
And thank you for loving us, showing us, teaching us,
making us who we are today.
We love you and we always will.
