Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 8:30 AM. Few Foreigners Are Traveling to China now.

This is the International area at Terminal 1 of #Shanghai #Pudong International Airport, captured at 8:30 a.m. on a recent day. There is a noticeable decline in the number of people traveling to #China. This airport used to be one of the busiest in the country.

"Why would foreigners come? To risk being mistaken as secret agents? Even Google Maps doesn't function here, and access to Facebook or Twitter is restricted. What incentive do they have to visit?" remarks the individual filming the video.

By the way, in 2018, my mother encountered an incident at this airport while on her way to visit me here in the #US. She traveled from Mianyang City to Chengdu City by train, then from Chengdu to Shanghai by plane, all on her own as a 76-year-old lady. However, upon arrival, she was informed that her passport had been revoked, preventing her from leaving.

My mother experienced shock and heartbreak, and her distress was so great that she nearly collapsed.
