I recently visited Kremikovtsi, to see the Monastery of "St. George".

I was mesmerized by the beauty and preservation of this historical site, especially the 15th-century frescoes that depict scenes from the Bible and the lives of saints.

The monastery was founded during the Second Bulgarian Empire and re-established in 1493 by a local noble bishop.

It has survived wars, invasions, fires, and earthquakes, and still stands as a testimony of the faith and culture of the Bulgarian people.
