Billy, a nine-banded armadillo, lives at CROW (Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife) on Sanibel, Florida . The armadillo was admitted to the clinic after he was found orphaned on April, 20 in Cape Coral, Florida. Armadillos are classified as a “non-native” species by Florida Fish and Wildlife. This classification does not allow CROW to release him back into the wild.
