Random Rants: NOW WHO'S GREEDY? The WGA Rejects A Reasonable Offer! Studios Hire A Major PR Firm

Welp, let's break down the studios' August 11 offer to the WGA in their effort to end the strike. As it appears, the writers were offered reasonable compensation from the AMPTP, but the WGA rejected it and claimed that the studios subsequent releasing the details to the public was a move to forcethem to cave in to their pressure. In response, the studios recently hired a major PR firm to help improve their messaging. It seems both sides are dug in deep and this strike may very well last the rest of the year, perhaps longer.
