One from the "vaults". Track from the upcoming album, "Clinical Mayo", originally written in 1987 for use with the Tonebenders, but never presented to either the Tonebenders or Bone Orchard. About time it sees the light of day. One hot mess indeed.

All instruments and vocals courtesy of M. Corcoran (the "last man standing")

Lyrics:

Yeah well, I think that life’s a breeze
When you’re living it in trees,
But I could be wrong.
And sex is always better
When you’re doing it in threes,
But I could be wrong, yeah, I could be wrong.

Well, if I told you I would look much better
In the morning light,
Well, I could be wrong.
And if I said that you could trust me
‘Cause I’d always steer you right,
Well, I could be wrong. Yeah, I could be wrong.

I could be talking about something
That I know nothing about,
While I’m trying to impress someone
I just can’t figure out.
The responsibility
Is just too much for me to bear.
So, I would think twice
Before you follow me somewhere.

I used to think that good guys
Always won out in the end.
But I could be wrong.
And when you don’t understand
It’s much safer to pretend
But I could be wrong, yeah, I could be wrong.

I could be talking about something
That I know nothing about,
While I’m trying to impress someone
I just can’t figure out.
The responsibility
Is just too much for me to bear.
So, I would think twice
Before you follow me somewhere.

Words get in the way
When you don’t have much to say.
But I could be wrong.
And what goes on tomorrow
Has no bearing on today.
But I could be wrong, yeah, I could be wrong.
Oh, I could be wrong, yeah, I could be wrong.

Mercy!
