Chriscoveries Interview – The Frontlines of Independent Media - ExCandidates Ep76

We are joined by Chris of Chriscoveries, an independent journalist and videographer who has covered a host of protests and events since 2020.

Chris recaps his experiences covering various protests from all sides of the political spectrum, some of which he has been assaulted and had his equipment damaged or broken.

Specifically, Chris goes into depth of what happened at the ‘Belfield Incident’, which was a protest outside a church in the Sydney suburb of Belfield in the lead up to the NSW State Election earlier in 2023.

Chris also gives his perspective on the state of independent media in Australia and how the mainstream media has treated him and his content.
