THE INVISIBLE MAN 1975 - From writer & producer Steven Bochco, Universal revived the classic HG Wells story as a Sci-Fi oriented TV Movie. It had good ratings on NBC in May of 1975, so a TV Series was produced that fall. In the movie, David McCallum portrays Dr. Daniel Westin, a scientist who discovers a method to turn objects invisible. He turns himself invisible to test it, but not wanting his notes to fall into the wrong hands, he destroys evidence of his discovery.
