RABBI J HAUSMAN. Father: valued thinking. Mother: iconoclast. Rabbi J: freedom of thought and speech. Maybe most, he puts his beliefs into action. He has hosted, at his synagogue, amazing thinkers and doers who believe in freedom of thought, who do good thinking, and speak out. He has had over a hundred Massachusetts rabbis, priests and ministers sign a condemnation of him. He has almost been fired. If I'm remembering this accurately, he has the honor of having been designated, by those against him, the most hated rabbi in America.
