$110 Pakistan Luxury Resort 🇵🇰

Islamabad, Pakistan ➖Since I began travelling when I was 18, I was very frugal with my money. Staying in hostels, cheap budget rooms and doing anything that could save me a buck. But after travelling for a few years and learning how to earn and save on the road, I've decided to treat myself with a bit of luxury.

About a 40 minute drive up into the mountains of Islamabad is a hotel called Highland Resort. Upon first glance, you will see A LOT of construction going on, which is estimated to be completed in 2030. After a check-in that lacked the normalities of high-end resorts (complimentary tea/juice, a simple hello upon entry) I was taken to my room. There was an incredible view looking over the valley and we were surrounded by nature, except for the bangs and machinery coming from the construction.

I then indulged in what could be labelled as my favourite dinner here in Pakistan, an amazing meal that overlooked the mountains, it was a vibe. A few interruptions during my sleep and before I knew it, it was time for brekky and to get back down to Islamabad.
