Do your paving stones look really dirty and are also full of moss, lichen and weeds? Especially the joints are usually covered in weeds! But this does not have to be. Because you can clean your paving stones with simple means and do not have to directly start the high-pressure cleaner. Because the problem with this is that you really spread the dirt everywhere and also rinse out your joints. That's why I'm going to show you a way to clean your pavers without making too much new dirt.

For this, the first thing we use is a grout scraper so we can get all the weeds out of the joints. The big weeds, however, we can best pull directly with our hands. Then we wipe the stones once with water and a little dishwashing liquid and wait until everything is dry again. The next step is to get rid of the moss. For this you can best take some vinegar and spray the moss with it. Make sure that you only hit the moss, because everything that comes into contact with the vinegar will die.

After 3-4 days the moss will turn yellow and only needs to be removed from the stones with a scrubber or a spatula. For all concrete residues or lichen is then best suited hot water. This I have once with the kettle brought to a boil and then give some of it directly on the concrete stain or just where the lichens are visible on the stone. Then go over it with a scrubber and the concrete stain or lichen disappears. After that, sweep everything again and let it dry and you can enjoy a clean patio. So you've really done everything you can to clean your pavers!
