"At minimum, we need to double the size of our airport"

Nashville International Airport's growth has exceeded expectations by a whopping 13 years. To tackle this, they're bringing in a consultant to figure out where to build a second terminal. The contract is worth $3.5 million and kicks off a ten-year journey alongside a $1.5 billion ongoing expansion. Last year, a record-breaking 21.9 million passengers used the airport, way above the previous year.
