Chocolate Banana Cake
Ingredients: 3 ripe bananas
100 g butter (melted and slightly cooled)
2 eggs
140 grams of sugar
200 grams of flour
3.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 packet of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt
100g chocolate drops Some hazelnuts
Butter and flour for greasing and sprinkling the loaf tin
Preparation:
Mash ripe bananas with a fork. Then add sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla sugar and stir, add butter. Then mix flour, cocoa and baking powder and mix with the other ingredients. Finally mix in
the chocolate drops. Grease the loaf tin and dust with flour. Add the batter and smooth out. Sprinkle again with chocolate and hazelnuts and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 45 minutes with top and bottom heat.
Tip: Check with a toothpick whether the banana cake is fully baked.
! soft, overripe bananas overlooked with brown spots are great for baking. If you have yellow and unripe bananas, you can use a simple trick to ripen yellow bananas in the oven! Preheat the oven to 150°C and place the bananas on a baking sheet. Bake for about 20-25 minutes. The shells become soft and almost black.
