Welcome to Day 238, August 26th, 2023. Back in the Main Studio! We read the rest of the Lamentations. We read of the anguish that the Prophet is going through, while seeing his people in desolation. But the Prophet has Hope in the Lord. Zion is degraded. A prayer for restoration from the Lord is pleaded for, to remember His People if they will turn back to Him. This book makes it clear that sin and rebellion of Israel were the cause for their destruction. Lamenting their situation, but recognizing it and leading to repentance. This marks the end of the Book of Lamentations.
