I heared current industry professionals share their stories and give tips and tricks for maximizing the college experience for a career in the music industry: Jolene Chevalier-owner/talent buyer has helped various buyers including colleges, theaters, arenas, festivals and corporations with their concert, comedy, speaker, celebrity, and drag events. Rae Grabowski-Music Booking Agent, books a few passion project artists of her own. Her personal clients have included hip-hop up-and-comers Caleborate, Mike Floss and Rakeem Miles, as well as critically acclaimed poet Andrea Gibson. Marissa Suiter-the Assistant Director - Student Activities, oversees multiple teams focusing on leadership and engagement, including the University's Programming Board who plan over 300 events annually. She has worked with students on talent buying for concert/festival), as well as several smaller committee events that feature concerts, speakers, and comedians. Past shows have included Kesha, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Jon Bellion, BORNS, Passion Pit, and Nick Offerman.
