Almost everyone has cable ties at home, but do you actually know what you can do with cable ties? Because there are some tricks and tips with cable ties that hardly anyone knows, although they are really ingenious. Here I show you 8 of these tricks.

1. Use cable ties as a key ring substitute. Wrap all your keys around and close the cable tie, that way you have all your keys in place.

2. are you going on a trip but don't have a lock to close your bag or suitcase? Again, you can use a zip tie to lock your bag or suitcase.

3. make several cable ties around a hanger and hang it in your closet. This way you can hang more hangers on the zip ties and save some space in your closet.

4. do you have several slips of paper, but no folder? Then you can also use cable ties to keep the notes in place.

5. if you mix water and some washing-up liquid, then close a zip tie, hold it in the mixture and then blow, you can also use a zip tie to make soap bubbles.

6. Is the top part of a zipper broken off? It doesn't matter if it's on a bag or pants. You can use a zip tie to fix it so you have something to grab again when you want to zipper it up.
