If you like to drink wine once in a while, but don't empty the whole bottle, you've surely wondered how to preserve it. Because to store open wine is not so easy.

You can't get the cork back into the bottle, so there aren't many ways to reseal the wine. But to tip away the wine is also much too shameful. Therefore, I show you in this video a trick with which your wine will last much longer.

For this you need a PET bottle with a thin lid. This you now cut off. Then you can put it over the open wine bottle and carefully move along the plastic with a storm lighter.

This melts the plastic and makes it adhere to the neck of the bottle. If you let it harden afterwards, your wine bottle will be completely sealed again. If you want to drink some wine, you can simply unscrew the top cap and pour in some wine.

This way, the wine lasts much longer and you don't have to tip the rest away. Why don't you try this out for yourself?
