Grab a bowl in which you can put your broom. Put hot water in it. Add a cup of vinegar and 50 grams of salt. Put your broom in this mixture, preferably over night.

The vinegar makes the broom really clean again, the salt also ensures that the bristles become nice and soft again. This way, you will have something from your broom for a much longer time. The next morning, simply dump the water and let the broom dry completely.
