Fire Shark Comparison: Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) vs Bitwave Games on Steam

Is Fire Shark better on the arcade or the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive)? The music is directly from the Sega Genesis version, which I prefer. The arcade version is a fine game, and Bitwave Games did a good conversion, but I prefer the home port.
