A couple from Lithuania won a wife-carrying competition in #Hungary Saturday, racing in scorching temperatures through water ditches and over the hay bales.
Fifteen couples raced through a 260-meters (284 yards) -long obstacle course which was organized for the fourth time in the Hungarian village of Tapiobicske.
The contest is said to have origins dating back to the Viking age. (Reuters) #news #voanews
