➦ This news is truly tragic to hear. The voice of the Mario that we have grown to adore, Charles Martinet, is backing away from continuing to record lines for the games. In this video I take a look back at all the fantastic memories I hold, all the amazing times I have had, and how many points in my life a seemingly lifeless character has gotten me through. Charles Martinet is Mario. And, Mario is and will always be Charles Martinet. This man is the true encapsulation of joy, and fun, and completely turned a lifeless being into a friend for not just myself, but also for the entire fanbase, for so long. It is sad to see him go, but the character he made whole, will forever hold my love.
