Understanding the History of Gamedogs

Historical books on gladiator dogs. This post is NOT about condoning  the history of such dogs. Instead, it is about understanding their ancestry; as recognizing their history is essential to understanding gameness for what it is…as gameness, aka determination, is an admireable trait…hence the “bulldog” being mascots of many educational institutions. Without the gameness of the bulldogs, the bandogs, hog dogs and other catchdogs, and many other breeds simply would not perform extreme tasks.
