I wanted to highlight his comments on the fact that the community is coming together to help each other now. They are bringing supplies in from other islands. He knows there is more pain and sadness to come and a long enduring struggle for the natives to not leave and to hold strong to keep their land.

He never mentioned FEMA or RED CROSS helping the people at these supply hubs. I just wanted to point that out too.
