Homestead Homemaking| Week 1 Monday Devotion

Welcome to Homestead Homemaking!

Our goal is to be efficient and diligent homemakers, and find the lost skill of serving our family with joy, grace, and love. This series IS Christian and religiously based, so please only join knowing that is what this series is based around.
Each week we'll list our schedule, how it worked or didn't work, and then fine tune it for our own needs. There will be an overall schedule that you can go by as well (print out or save) and suite it to your own needs.
The goal of this series is to have a clean and organized home in 4 to 6 weeks. And from weeks 6 to 8, fine tune our homemaking skills so that we never have to worry about a cluttered house again. Being diligent in this 6-8 week timeline will help us feel less overwhelmed and more empowered, but it will also ensure that we create the new habit of a successful Homestead Homemaker. The beauty is that if you get side tracked, you can go back and start all over again at week one. And the cycle will continue.
Each week we'll have a devotional of what God has been speaking to our hearts (Monday video) and then at the end of each week, we'll show you how we implemented our homemaking schedules — successes AND failures (Saturday/Sunday video).
We encourage you to join the journey! Each week we'll have a share day—you can share your before and after photos of each room that you clean and purge, you can share your schedule, and more!
